Augenscheinlich ist die durch die Verteilung zwischen Xerxes u. den Chor bedingte Respon- sion, zweifelhaft, ob sie auch bei diesem letzten Teile sich auf anti- strophische Gliederung erstreckte. αἰακτός 8. ν. α. αἰάζων vgl. 931. κίε Suppl. 504. Cho. 680. Begriffe selbst in den Palast ein- zutreten, den er unter so ganz Im anderen Verkältnissen verlassen, empfindet Xerxes dessen Anblick als einen Vorwurf. ἁβροβάται die weiche Fufsbekleidung als nationales Kennzeichen. Vgl. Λυδὲ ποδαβρέ bei Herod. I 55. τρί- σκαλμος 679. βάρισιν 554. πέμψω 8. v. a. προπέμψω (Schol.). Vgl. 530. δυσθρόοις 941.
