Notes on the current edition

Andromache

1. Porson reads τίς δῆτ᾽ ἂν εἴτοι.
2. Nauck regards this as an interpolation, not improbably.
3. Reading τῆλ᾽ (Reiske).
4. Lines 655-656 are rejected by Nauck.
5. Lines 668-677 are regarded by Hirzel as not being the work of Euripides. Nauck incloses them in brackets.
6. The half-brother of Peleus and Telamon, slain by them out of jealousy.
