Kommos, welcher die Vorgänge im Innern des Hauses gewissermafsen auf die Bühne verlegt, bestehend aus drei Teilen. Im ersten Teile (1056-1100), welcher die Vorbereitung der blutigen That beschreibt, spricht der Chor (d. i. Chorführer) nur in Trimetern, während die Partieen der Kasandra melisch sind. ἀγυιᾶτα: über ᾿Απόλλων ἀγνιεύς oder ἀγυιάτης zu 90. Das Symbol desselben war eine kegelförmige Säule (Harpokr. unter ἀγνιᾶς und Hesych. unter ἀγνιεύς). ἀπόλλων ἐμός, für mich ein ἀπόλλων d. i. ἀπολλύων, an mir hat er seinen Namen wahr gemacht. Vgl. zu 517 und 688. Eur. frg. 781, 11 ὦ καλλιφεγγὲς Ἥλι᾽, ὥς μ᾿ ἀπώλεσας καὶ τόνδ᾽· ᾿Απόλ λων δ᾽ ἐν βροτοῖς ὀρθῶς καλῇ, ὅστις τὰ σιγῶντ᾽ ὀνόματ᾿ οἶδε δαιμόνων, Archiloch. frg. 27 Bgk. ἄναξ " Απολλον, καὶ σὺ τοὺς μὲν αἰτίους πήμαινε καί σφεας ὄλλυ᾽ ὥσπερ ὀλλύεις.
