Kommos bestehend aus drei Strophenpaaren. Die Chorpartieen bestehen immer aus drei Teilen, von welchen den ersten die drei στοίχοι (jeder στοίχος ein Strophenpaar), den zweiten der Koryphaios, den dritten der Gesamtchor vorzutragen scheint. Den Inhalt bildet die verschiedene Auffassung und die sittliche Motivierung des Rachewerks sowie die Anklage der Klytämestra. τίς ἂν Μοίρα: zu 627.

ἔγκασι (die Form wie Hom. 1 438) mit Bezug auf νείρα 1480: „Fürwahr, einen mächtig in den Eingeweiden wirkenden und schwergrollenden Dämon preisest du da, wehe, in schlimmem Preisen, einen Dämon, der unersättlich ist in Mordwerken." ἀτηρᾶς τύχας ἀκόρεστον giebt den Sinn von η πρὶν .. νέος ἰχώρ 1480 f. wieder.
