Wir zeigten der Welt ruhmvolle Feldzüge d. i. führten sie vor deren Augen Augen aus. στρατιάς im Sinne von στρατείας. πολίσματα πύργινα, vgl. Eur. Bacch. 19 καλλιπυργώτους πόλεις. ἀνέρας (fehlt in den Handschriften) als episches Wort mit epischer Messung wie ἀνέρων Suppl. 426. - εὐ πράσσοντας: auch vom Skythenfeldzuge (Herod. VII 10, 1) und von Marathon (ib. VI 102 ff.)?
