Kommos, welcher die Vorgänge im Innern des Hauses gewissermafsen auf die Bühne verlegt, bestehend aus drei Teilen. Im ersten Teile (1056-1100), welcher die Vorbereitung der blutigen That beschreibt, spricht der Chor (d. i. Chorführer) nur in Trimetern, während die Partieen der Kasandra melisch sind.
