Anapästisches System beim Auftreten einer neuen Person. ἀτεκμαρτ. ganz unerwartet. ἐνέβη, vgl. 516. - τί πάθω (vgl. quid faciam?), was soll aus mir werden? Ar. Plut. 603, Lukian. Prometh. 7. – λέλυται 592. τήνδ᾽ ἡλικίαν ἀστῶν : gegenüber den ehr- würdigen Greisen, seinen Räten und zugleich Vätern, die er ihrer Söhne beraubt hat, drückt den Xerxes die moralische Verantwortlichkeit für das Geschehene. ἐσιδόντ᾽ Acc., ad sensum, weil das Vorhergehende s. v. a. es befällt mich Beben. Vgl. Cho. 410: πέπαλται μοι φίλον κέαρ τόνδε κλύουσαν οἶκτον. οἰχομένων in anderem Sinne als 1, vgl. 1002. κατὰ, 101. 670. θανάτου μοῖρα κατακαλύψαι nach dem homerischen τέλος θανάτοιο ( Ε 553), μοίρα δυσώνυμος ἀμφεκά- λυψεν ( Μ 116).
