Pallas, von Phobos hergeeilt in raschem Lauf,
Der selbst vor euer Auge sich zu treten scheut,
Damit ihr ihn nicht tadelnd an Vergangnes mahnt,
Und mich gesendet, um das Wort euch kundzuthun,

Nur daß ein hohes Fürstenhaus dein Erbe sei.
