1. 14. ῾In,᾿ or ‘ by righteousness.
2. 15. 0r, ‘they stir up strife, it is not from me.
3. 16. Or, ‘ a weapon to his work.
4. 17. Lit. ‘ Every weapon...shall not ᾿
5. 2. ‘hearken, (only) hearken᾿: or, ‘hearken diligently᾿ (verb repeated in Heb.). ‘delight itself᾿ or ῾luxuriate᾿: cf. lvii. 4, lviii. 14, & c.
6. 6. ‘while he may be,’ lit. ‘in his being found.’
7. 7 fin. ‘will be abundant in pardoning.’
8. 10. ‘unless it have...’: or, ‘without watering...and making...’ (and so ver. 11).
