Geography

1. Cape Spartel, or Espartel. Ampelusia, vine-clad, was the Greek name,—a translation of the native name.
2. Groskurd reads Tinx, and also with Letronne observes that our author has mistaken two places for one. Tinx, or Trinx=Tangiers. Lixus=Al-Harâtch, or Laraiche.
3. Cadiz.
4. Situated between the town Sala (Salee) and Lixus (El-Harâch).
