Vgl. καθήκειν 453, Suidas unter κατάβα: καταβαίνειν τὸ εἰς ἀγῶνα χωρεῖν. — χθόνιον Ἑρμῆν als Gott heimlicher List, vgl. 808 ff., Soph. Εl. 1395 ὁ Μαίας δὲ παῖς ἐπί σφ᾽ ἄγει, δόλον σκότω κρύψας κτέ. ἐφοδεύειν mit Akk. bedeutet obire, mit Dat. hier ,,hingeleiten".
