trägt der Koryphaios vor; dann trennt sich der Chor in zwei Halbchöre, welche sich den beiden Schwestern anschließen, von denen Antigone der Leiche des Polynikes, Ismene der Leiche des Eteokles folgt. Es sprechen die Halbchorführer.

Die Verlängerung der letz- ten Silbe von ὠλέσατε ist durch die Arsis entschuldigt. Vgl. zu 1052. Die Änderungen Φλέσσατε (Elms- ley), ὄλλυτε (Heimsöth) geben selbst keinen einwandfreien Rhythmus. πρέμνοθεν (so Is. Voß für πρυμνό- θεν): zu 754.
