Drei iambische Verse (1. katal. Pentapodie mit Synkope des dritten u. vierten Iambus, 2. u. 3. Tetrapodie, bez. Pentapodie ᾿Αντιστρ. γ΄. mit Synkope im zweiten u. dritten Iambus) u. ein logaödischer, be- stehend aus Choriambus (d. h. Dak- tylus u. synk. Trochäus) und drei Trochäen. δᾶοι wie 239. – όνομα Σαλαμίνος πλεῖστον ἔχθος κλύειν wie ἔχθιστον κλύειν. αἰαῖ στρα- τοῦ φθαρέντος ist wie 116 der an- zustimmende Klageruf. δάοις, Athen seinen Feinden, also hier den Persern. ὡς . . . ἔκτισαν ist nicht ein von μεμνῆσθαι abhängiger Satz, sondern ein kausaler Nebensatz, da sich zu μεμνῆσθαι aus dem Vor- hergehenden ᾿Αθηνῶν ergänzt. - μάταν εὔπαιδας, weil sie die Söhne, καταπαίδας, ἀνάνδρους, weil sie die Gatten ver- loren haben.
