Die einzelnen Schiffe waren zusammengenagelt ( πολύ- γομφον, vgl. Suppl. 846) und dann unter einander durch Stricke ver- bunden. Vgl. Herod. VII 36. Helle war Tochter des Thessaliers Athamas und der Nephele. vielgenietete (feste) Bahn (die Schiffbrücke, deren Zweck war als Bahn zu dienen) als Joch umwer- fend dem Nacken des Meeres.
