NEO
My chief will call me weakling, soft of heart;
But go not yet, since our friend bids you stay.
1075
Till we have prayed, and all be ready on board.
Meanwhile, perchance, he may conceive some thought
That favours our design. We two will start;
And ye, be swift to speed forth at our call.

250
275
In meiner Qual erquickte: ringsum späht' ich nach;
Doch nichts entdeckt' ich überall, als Sammer nur;

Philoctetes
O'erwhelmed by such a storm of griefs as I am,
You should not thus resent a madman's ifrenzy.

Philoctetes
1123
I am a wretch, a wretch, oppress'd with woes;
And never, never from this hour with man
Shall have my dwelling, but shall perish here.
My food no more shall I procure, no more
Bend my strong bow, and pierce the flying birds;
For dark and treacherous words, that ever smooth
The tongue of fraud, have robbed me of my arms.
Oh, might I see the base betrayer rack'd
For such a length of time with pains like mine!
