Notes on the current edition

History of Rome, books 1-10, 21-45

1. It is extraordinary that Livy makes no mention here of Siccius Dentatus, and his strenuous exertions in endeavouring to carry the agrarian law, as well as of his angry contentions with the consuls. For his character, see Dion. 3 x. 31, 32.
