Καὶ ἤψατο τοῦ πώγωνος Φιλίππου ἕλκων αὐτόν· ὁ δὲ Φίλιππος οὐκ ἀλγήσας, ἀλλὰ διὰ τοὺς παρόντας πρᾴως ὀργισθείς, εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν· Ἰδοὺ λέγω σοι ὅτι ἡ χεὶρ αὕτη ξηρὰ καὶ τὰ ὦτά σου κωφὰ ἐν ἀλγήσει καὶ ὁ δεξιός σου ὀφθαλμὸς πηρός, ὅτι ἠπείλησας λιθοβολῆσαί με, καὶ ἐνύβρισας τὸν ἐσταυρωμένον, τὸν οὐρανοῦ καὶ γῆς ποιητήν.
