The Epistle of Barnabas

The text of this whole passage is confused: tres sunt ergo constitutiones domini, vitae spes initium et consummatio L and no more; τρία οὖν δόγματά ἐστιν κυρίου, ζωή, πίστις, ἐλπίς, ἀρχὴ καὶ τέλος ἡμῶν, καὶ δικεοσύνη κρίσεως ἀρχή, καὶ τέλος ἀγάπη, εὐφροσύνη, καὶ ἀγαλλιάσεως ἔργων ἐν δικαιοσύναις μαρτυρία ℵ. The text printed is that of C, which gives the best sense, though it is doubtful if it is more than the correction of an early corruption.
