1. Schweighäuser understood the words your brother to refer to Lucius Antonius as though Octavius were addressing Cocceius as Antony’s legate. Mendelssohn shows by a reference to Borghesi that the person referred to was M. Cocceius Nerva, Antony’s proquaestor.
