[112] And those who judge by ‟implication”¹ declare that a hypothetical syllogism is true when its consequent is potentially included in its antecedent; and according to them the syllogism ‟If day exists, day exists,” and every such duplicated syllogism, will probably be false; for it is not feasible that any object should itself be included in itself.
