2. ‟Dubious lessons”: if the text is right, we must supply λόγους (sayings, ‟lessons”) with τοὺς ἀπόρους. It was laid down (cf. Adv. Math. i. 29) that ‟the dubious (ἄπορον) cannot be taught”: it is intermediate between truth and falsehood.
