The Olympian victories were seven, four in the single-stadium-length race and three in the double-stadium-length race.

The race with the shield, that takes place at the end of the contest, was not at that time one of the events. It is said that Khionis also took part in the expedition of Battos of Thera, helped him to found Cyrene and to reduce the neighboring Libyans.
