Notes on the current edition

Τόξαρις ἢ Φιλία

1. τὸ Ζίριν Schmieder; τὸ ζηρίν Ϲ; τὸν ζίριν Γ; τὸν ζῖριν Ν; τὸν ζίρην B. Below (Ζίριν ἥκοντα) the same variations in spelling occur. The corruption of τὸ to τὸν arose from knowing or guessing (from the context below), that Zirin was a Masculine noun.
2. λάβοι N: λάβῃ ΓΒϹ.
3. λαβὼν ΝΒ: not in ΓΜ(Ϲ)Α.
