[48] φωτὸς οὖν ἀνάπαυσις ἑρμηνεύεται Ναχὼρ εἰκότως· ᾗ μὲν γὰρ Ἀβραάμ ἐστι τοῦ σοφοῦ συγγενής, φωτὸς τοῦ κατὰ σοφίαν μετέσχηκεν· ᾗ δ’ οὐ συναποδεδήμηκεν αὐτῷ τὴν ἀπὸ τοῦ γενομένου πρὸς τὸ ἀγένητον καὶ τὴν ἀπὸ τοῦ κόσμου πρὸς τὸν κοσμοπλάστην ἀποδημίαν,
χωλὴν καὶ ἀτελῆ τὴν ἐπιστήμην ἐκτήσατο, ἀναπαυομένην καὶ μένουσαν, μᾶλλον δ’ ἀνδριάντος ἀψύχου τρόπον πεπηγυῖαν.
