[130] Μωυσῆς γοῦν τοῖς δεδιόσι, μή ποτε πρὸς τοῦ φαύλου πανστρατιᾷ διώκοντος ἀπόλωνται, φησί· „στῆτε καὶ ὁρᾶτε τὴν σωτηρίαν τὴν παρὰ τοῦ κυρίου, ἣν ποιήσει ὑμῖν“ (Exod. 14, 13), ἐκδιδάσκων

[130] For Moses says to those who fear lest they should be destroyed by the wicked man, who is pursuing them with all his host, "Stand still, and see the salvation which is from the Lord, and which he will work for you;" ¹ teaching them that salvation ²³ is effected, not by means of God, but by him as the direct cause.
