Creon
I charge thee be thou silent.
Silent! no;
May not these awful pow'rs restrain my tongue
From one curse more, this curse on thee, vile man,
Who from my sightless steps hast drawn by force
My tender guide! For this may yon bright god,
Th' all-seeing sun, give thee and all thy race
To close your lives with an old age like mine!
Ye natives of this country, see you this?
