Notes on the current edition

Αἴτια Ἑλληνικά

1. Αὔαν seems required by the ending of the adjective below rather than Αὖον (Xylander from Stephanus Byzantius): Ἀραούαν.
2. Παραυαῖοι Xylander (as in Thuc. ii. 80, and elsewhere): Παραοῦαι.
3. Κίρρᾳ Hatzidakis and Kontos: Κίρρῃ.
4. καταλεύσαντες Xylander: καταπλεύσαντες.
5. ὡς Wyttenbach: καὶ.
6. καταφανὴς F.C.B.; ἐμφανὴς Meziriacus; οὐκ ἀφανὴς H. Richards (all amounting to the same thing): ἀφανὴς.
