Cicero

1. ἐτέθραπτο the words καὶ πολλή ( and full) which follow this verb in the MSS. are deleted by Gudeman as contradictory to iii. 5 and due to the double πολλὰ below.
2. ἐξηρτύετο Graux, after Madvig: ἐξήρτυε.
